Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Stepply collects, why, and who helps us handle it. We collect only what we need to run the product, and we do not sell personal information.

1. What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address and, if you add one, a profile picture.
  • Workspace content: the templates, workflows, form answers, typed signatures and files you and your team put into Stepply, with who did what and when.
  • Billing details: handled by our payment provider. We see your plan and payment status, not your full card number.
  • Technical data: the basic request information any web service receives, such as IP address and browser, kept in server logs for security and troubleshooting.

2. How we use it

To run Stepply: to sign you in, send each step to the right person, send notifications and reminders by email and in the app, show analytics for your workspace, take payment, and keep the service secure. We do not use your workspace content to advertise to you.

3. Who helps us run Stepply

We use a small number of providers who process data on our behalf and only to provide their service to us:

  • Vercel: hosts the website and the app.
  • Neon: stores the database and uploaded files.
  • Resend: delivers our emails.
  • Stripe: processes payments.

4. Cookies

The app uses cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your settings. The website stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete its content, except where we must keep something by law, such as billing records.

6. Your choices

You can see and change your account details in the app at any time. To get a copy of your information, correct it, or have it deleted, email hello@stepplyapp.com.

7. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell account holders by email before the change takes effect.
